Bold Miners FC is a vibrant community football club, proudly run by a dedicated team of volunteers. Our mission is to provide inclusive opportunities for children of all ages, genders, and abilities from Bold and its surrounding areas, fostering a love for football and a sense of community spirit.
Our History
Founded on March 6th 2023 by Tom Kingsley, Sammie Kingsley, Gavin Jones, and Nicola Jones; Bold Miners FC was established with a clear vision: to create a nurturing environment where young football enthusiasts can develop their skills and enjoy the beautiful game. Our home matches are held at the Bold Miners Neighbourhood Centre on Fleet Lane, a venue that has quickly become a hub of excitement and community pride.
Our Vision
Our primary goal is to inspire children from the local area to fall in love with football from an early age. We aim to provide a structured pathway for young players to grow and improve as they progress through the club, ultimately reaching our open age team. Currently competing in the Warrington and District League Division 3, our open age team exemplifies the spirit and determination we instill in all our players.
Teams and Coaching
Bold Miners FC boasts a diverse range of teams, from U6s through to open age. Each team is guided by our passionate and FA-qualified volunteer coaches, who are committed to fostering a supportive and encouraging environment for every player. Our coaching philosophy is rooted in developing not only football skills but also teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
Role Models and Mentorship
We believe in the power of positive role models. Our open age team members are encouraged to set a good example for our junior teams, serving as mentors and sources of inspiration. Many of our open age players and coaches are actively involved in coaching junior teams, creating strong links and a supportive network throughout the entire club. This interconnected approach ensures that all our players receive consistent guidance and encouragement as they develop their talents.
